What styles of Vantaggio are available?

Vantaggio can be ordered in shreds and loaves. The shreds provide labor savings and deliver premium performance without the waste. The loaves or blocks are firm and shred easily. Both styles are available in whole milk and low moisture, part skim.

How should Vantaggio be stored?

For optimum shelf life and performance, keep Vantaggio refrigerated at 35°F – 41°F. Once shredded, refrigerate and store in a closed container. The quality is guaranteed for 90 days from production date.

Is Vantaggio D’Oro made from rBST-free milk?

Since 1993, when the FDA approved the use of synthetic growth hormones, such as rBST or rBGH, some dairy farms have injected their cows to increase milk production. The milk used in Vantaggio D’Oro is not produced with any extra hormones and is completely rBST free.

Why is California the leading Mozzarella state in the country?

Great Mozzarella is all about efficiency, making the same cheese, the same way, day after day. California’s large dairies, wide open spaces and mild weather are perfect for cows. Over the years, the largest Mozzarella plants have located themselves in the state and that’s why more Mozz is produced there than anywhere else in the country.
